Romance in literature is classified as being a usual characteristic for treatment of chivalry or as being a long fictitious tale of heroes an extraordinary events. In modern tales romance is used to create a type of damsel and hero some examples being mainly addressed in children's books and movies were the prince comes to rescue is presumed princess from some sort of trouble. Some examples come from Disney movies like Snow White and Tangled and others like Shrek. Therefore, in Treasure Island, romantic elements that are seen are that this book is all about adventure and the point of Jim Hawkins always looking for a good time. Another part of this literary element that really contributes to the ideals of romance is the exotic locations of all the action.
